1. About MathTribes
MathTribes is an online AP Calculus learning and classroom management platform operated from İzmir, Turkey. The platform offers digital textbooks, quizzes, flashcards, and practice exams for AP Calculus AB and BC.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
3. Membership Plans
- APGuest — Free plan with limited access. No payment required.
- APStudent — Paid annual subscription granting full student access.
- APTeacher — Paid annual subscription granting full student access plus classroom management tools.
4. Payments and Billing
- All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorized Merchant of Record.
- Subscriptions are billed annually.
- Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to local taxes calculated at checkout by Paddle.
- You will receive a receipt by email after each payment.
5. Refund Policy
Please refer to our Refund Policy page for full details. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
6. Classroom Rules
- Teachers are responsible for the appropriate use of classroom features.
- Students must not share class IDs or passwords with unauthorized persons.
- Homework submissions must represent the student’s own work.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on MathTribes — including topic pages, examples, flashcards, quizzes, and practice exams — is owned by MathTribes.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the platform.
- You may not use automated tools to scrape or download platform content.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Upload malicious files or code
- Impersonate another person or entity
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. In cases of termination due to violation, no refund will be issued.
10. Disclaimer
The platform is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical failures, though we take reasonable measures to prevent such events.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MathTribes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of İzmir courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
